.DISCUSSION... Issued at 143 AM CDT Mon Sep 29 2025

High pressure continues to be the story both at the sfc and aloft as we go through the work week ahead. Highs continue to be above normal (normal is about 80) through mid to late week then will drop down closer to normal but still remain just above normal. Light northeast flow at the sfc will also help to keep us dry. Lower fog potential this morning.

There is not much change to the overall pattern this week. TS Imelda and hurricane Humberto are both projected to curve back out to see off the Georgia/Florida coast. This will keep us impact free. Temperatures will be closer to normal by Friday, but will still be above normal through the weekend.

.AVIATION /18Z TAFS THROUGH 18Z TUESDAY/... Issued at 1237 PM CDT Mon Sep 29 2025

Outside of fog potential at CGI tonight, VFR will prevail elsewhere. High pressure to the north will keep a northeasterly flow in place up to 8 knots, becoming calm tonight. Skies will remain clear.
