Corning is a former village and virtual ghost town in Holt County, Missouri, United States. The population was 3 at the 2020 census. The population is estimated to be uninhabited as of 2025, effectively making Corning a virtual ghost town. Corning was dissolved and disincorporated in 2023.
The village is named for Erastus Corning who owned sizeable shares of the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad and who is the namesake of another Burlington railroad community Corning, Iowa.
