.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGES:
- Gusty NW winds today will require a Lake Wind Advisory today.
- Freezing temperatures tonight and Monday morning.
- Temperatures will warm Monday through Wednesday with dry
  weather.
WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:
An upper level trough will move through eastern Montana today with
cool temperatures and gusty north to NW winds. Will maintain a
Lake Wind Advisory for Fort Peck Lake today. Any rain currently
over NE Montana will diminish this morning. High pressure will
move into Montana this afternoon and evening which will clear
skies across the forecast area. Winds will diminish this evening.
Clear skies and light winds tonight will allow temperatures to
fall into the 20s for lows tonight across NE Montana. It will be
the first freeze for most locations. The lowest temperatures will
be near 20 degrees in northern Philips and Valley counties.
Upper ridge moves into the area Monday and Tuesday with dry
weather and warmer temperatures. The ridge moves to the east on
Wednesday with the warm and dry weather continuing.
A dry cold front Wednesday night will bring slightly cooler
temperatures on Thursday. Dry weather continues on Friday with
another ridge over the area.

Blended today winds with NBM90. No other deviations from NBM.

FLIGHT CAT RANGE: VFR today and tonight.
DISCUSSION: Mid and high clouds will be over the area this
morning. Rain showers over KGDV and KSDY will diminish this
morning. Skies will clear from north to south this afternoon and
clear skies are expected tonight.
WIND: North to NW 10 to 15 knots early increasing to 15 to 25
knots this morning. NW winds will diminish to 5 to 10 knots after
00z this evening and become light and variable overnight.
EQUIPMENT: At KSDY an AMD NOT SKED will remain in place
until the METARs comms issue is repaired.
