Ongoing storms early this morning are expected to linger in central Wisconsin through the morning hours as the center of cyclonic rotation over central Iowa on morning GOES water vapor imagery slowly phases east-northeast, persisting low level frontogenesis. Peak low level trough amplification later today brings higher precipitation potential locally into Wisconsin counties through the evening hours. Additional preciptiation chances spread northeast along the nose of increased low level theta e lobe through central Iowa later this morning into the afternoon. Therefore, while a mostly dry morning is expected, widespread, low to moderate (20-60%) precipitation chances return this afternoon/evening. An additional 1" to 1.5" of accumulating rainfall will be possible primarily in central Wisconsin with a widespread
