- Mostly dry and seasonable forecast through the weekend.

.SHORT TERM (THROUGH WEDNESDAY)...
Cool crisp mornings and warm afternoons are expected both today
and Wednesday. Light north to northeasterly flow through the
column has allowed drier air to work into the region, resulting
in a couple cooler mornings today and tomorrow. Temperatures
will dip as low as the lower 60s over the Hill Country with mid
to upper 60s elsewhere. Highs will remain warm, in the upper 80s
to middle 90s Tuesday and Wednesday. Weak ridging approaches on
Wednesday, resulting in increased high temperatures.

.LONG TERM (WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY)...
Mid-level ridging will take hold over western and central Texas
Wednesday through late week. This will result in mainly dry days
outside of some seabreeze showers or storms over the Coastal
Plains. Beyond any seabreeze activity, it will be a mainly dry
and warm week with highs in the mid to upper 90s and mornings in
the upper 60s to lower 70s.

.AVIATION (18Z TUESDAY THROUGH 00Z THURSDAY)...
VFR flying conditions will prevail through Wednesday afternoon.
We saw some MVFR skies over DRT where low level moisture is
stacking up over the higher terrain. However, NE to E winds
should continue to promote drier air across the region, so few
stratus are expected for Thursday morning. At the I-35 sites,
light VRBL winds will prevail, but with mostly an E/ENE flavor.
Then a more E/SE wind is expected to trend over the daytime
Wednesday.
